Every person on this page has been background-checked and trained in-house, not hired off a street corner after a hailstorm. What ties us together is simple: we live here, we work here, and we’re not going anywhere.

Cecil Hargrove, Owner
I’ve been on roofs since 2016, and I still climb them whenever a job calls for a second set of eyes. Started this company because I got tired of watching homeowners get talked into work they didn’t need by crews who’d be in Oklahoma by Tuesday. These days I handle the big-picture stuff, but I also answer phones when the lines get heavy and drive out to Alamo Heights or Stone Oak when a customer wants to talk to the person whose name is on the truck. I carry GAF Master Elite and CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster credentials, though what matters more to me is that every crew member can explain a repair to a homeowner without talking down to them. Off the clock, I’m usually restoring vintage fishing reels or bothering my grown kids about when they’re going to fix their own gutters.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us twelve years, starting as a laborer on a 110-degree July day in Converse and working his way to lead on our busiest repair crew. He’s certified in Owens Corning and Atlas installation systems, but his real specialty is tracking down leaks that three other companies missed. Last spring he spent three hours in a crawl space in Terrell Hills tracing a water stain back to a nail pop on a ridge vent that was installed wrong in 2017. Homeowners ask for him by name now. He keeps a battered notebook of every tricky repair he’s solved, and he trains our apprentices to do the same. Outside work, he coaches youth baseball at McAllister Park and argues about Spurs rotations with anyone who will listen.
Dolores R., Senior Installer
Dolores came to us from a commercial roofing background in 2016, and she brought a rigor to our residential work that changed how we approach full replacements. She’s our go-to for steep-slope jobs and specialty materials, including Boral clay tile and standing-seam metal work in the historic districts around King William and Monte Vista. She holds IKO and Tamko installer certifications and has completed GAF’s advanced steep-slope training twice. What sets her apart is patience with old roofs, the kind with three layers of shingles and decking that’s seen a century of San Antonio humidity. She’ll spend the extra hour doing it right rather than burying a problem. On weekends she restores mid-century furniture and tends to a backyard full of native Texas plants that she swears are “low maintenance” despite the evidence.
Javier B., Service Coordinator
Javier is the voice most of you hear when you call (833) 756-5022, and he’s the reason we can say a live person answers 24/7 without it being a hollow claim. He’s been with us eight years, knows our scheduling system inside out, and can tell you whether we have a crew available for same-day service in Helotes versus needing until tomorrow for a dispatch to Live Oak. He’s not reading from a script. He grew up on the South Side, knows the neighborhoods, and can flag when a caller’s description sounds like an emergency versus something that can wait for daylight. He coordinates between homeowners, insurance adjusters, and our crews so nothing falls through cracks. When Hurricane Harvey hit, he slept on an air mattress in the office for three days to keep up with calls. He collects vintage concert posters and makes a mean barbacoa that he brings to company cookouts.
Trey K., Apprentice
Trey joined us in 2023 through our apprentice program, which we run because Cecil believes you can’t build a company that lasts by poaching from competitors. He spent his first six months carrying shingles, learning to spot hail damage from the ground, and watching Marcus trace leaks. Now he’s running his own repair calls under supervision and has completed his GAF Pro Field Guide certification. He’s quick with a tape measure and slower to promise, which we like. He asks questions that remind the veterans why they do things a certain way. Trey grew up in Schertz, enlisted in the Army Reserve after high school, and came to roofing because he wanted work where he could see what he’d accomplished at the end of each day. He’s studying for his contractor’s license and talks about starting his own crew someday, which we encourage. For now, he’s the one who remembers to take the “after” photos homeowners love to see.
